Linda Scannell is a professional photographer based in Warwick, Warwickshire. She learnt photography with film cameras, but she has been working exclusively in digital format since 2005. She uses with a variety of digital cameras, including her iPhone, capturing the shapes, silhouettes and reflections that attract her attention while out walking. She is not a traditional landscape photographer, instead preferring to focus the viewer's attention on one or two elements of the scene by digitally manipulating an image's tones and colours and enhancing them with textures from the surrounding landscape. The results are pictures a dreamlike quality.
