I have a natural empathy with trees, flowers, the sea, and nature, and love to explore shapes & form in different mediums. The natural beauty of the surrounding landscape provides an endless source of inspiration, influencing both the mood and character of my paintings.
My passion for abstract art began in the 1960s and remains as strong today as ever. I am particularly drawn to the expressive power of colour and texture. Rather than giving many of my abstract works titles, I number them instead, inviting each viewer to embark on their own personal journey and discover their own interpretation. My work has been collected worldwide and is held in private collections across the globe.
