Description
Aurora 10th Oct. 2024 Breghyek Ynysek Syllan. This was an extraordinary experinece. I started watching the aurora soon after 11 pm and continued to watch the aurora until 3 am. At it's peak the aurora covered over half the sky and some colour was visible to the unaided eye mainly greens and pinks. This series of drawings are the begining of a series of artworks that will include large oil paintings. The artwork is unconventionally framed, it has a backing frame mounted to the back of the drawing with mounting fittings on the back and is ready to hang, but no physically surrounding frame.
