Description
Blue Tit – Acrobat of the Hedgerows
The Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) is one of Britain's most familiar and endearing garden birds, celebrated for its lively spirit and acrobatic feeding. With its azure crown, green back, yellow underparts, and bold black eye-stripe, this little bird is a splash of colour against woodland and garden greenery.
Blue Tits are highly adaptable, frequenting hedgerows, oak woods, orchards, and bird tables where they deftly hang upside down to reach seeds, insects, and fat. They are also industrious nesters, readily taking to nest boxes, where broods of hungry chicks are raised each spring. Despite their diminutive size, Blue Tits are bold and curious, often among the first to investigate garden feeders.
This Limited Edition Giclée print of 150 is reproduced with archival pigment inks on museum-grade fine art paper. Each piece is hand-signed and numbered by the artist, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Poetic Note
A crown of blue, a breast of gold,
With nimble grace its tale is told.
Through hedge and bough it flits with glee,
A fearless spark of liberty.
