Description
The first painting from my plein air day at Warwickshire Lavender Farm. This viewpoint was looking up the hill where the lavender had been planted in straight lines giving a grid like quality.
Some of the highlights were finished off in my studio.
A hot summers day in July, the lavender was at its best just before harvesting.
