Description
These Bird of Paradise flowers were painted directly onto the canvas using a palette knife, with brushes used to refine the finer details. I was inspired by a beautiful bouquet that I was given, whose striking forms and vibrant colours demanded to be captured in paint. This work also inspired me to create an abstract interpretation of the same subject.
