Description
Inspired by Standen, an arts and crafts property owned by the National Trust.
The linoprint in a rich sienna ink was printed by hand, then coloured with watercolours. It features a representation of William Morris' Willow wallpaper behind a William de Morgan vase found in Standen.
This is a cropped version of my original linoprint; it is part of a variable edition printed in different colours, on different papers and some with added wate colour or cine Colle.
Details
Background: Willow leaves in sienna, with bright blue watercolour background.
Foreground: An amphora style vase, printed in sienna, a pattern of fishes in a delicate peach pink watercolour.
