Description
Of all the beautiful sandy bays in the whole Outer Hebrides, Luskentyre is right up there with the very best of them. The Traigh Lar, or big beach in the local language of the celt is a bay of enormous proportions. But it is the quality of the jade seas that truly sets it apart from the other bays, with an almost Mediterranean feel to it. A special gourmet of colours when seen on a sunny day.
