Description
A modern and contemporary take on a traditional subject. Oil paint has been applied using palette knives creating a stunning surface texture of thick, colourful paint which is Roseanna's signature style. From close up every gesture the artist has made is visible, when stepping back all these expressive marks come together and a galloping horse emerges. 'Free Spirit' was painted by Roseanna during lockdown in early 2021.
