Description
The composition is inspired by the famous painting 'Christina's World' by Andrew Wyeth 1947.
My painting is about the longing for Spring through a long hard Winter. Storm damaged wood lies broken on the foreground with a steep hill ahead. The horizon is a metaphor for better times ahead. But the wait is long and it requires strength and perseverance to get there.
