'Morning Woodland Walk' Mixed Media
One of the nicest things to do in the morning is go for a walk down the local woods. I wanted to capture the light between the trees as the sun gets higher. The landscape painting colour palette has fresh springlike tones, Looking forward to new growth and lots of lovely walks amongst the plants and vegetation. The painting is a contemporary stance on painting trees. I used an abstract layering technique to achieve the contrast between lights and darks and solid space against ambiguous areas.
