I've definitely been using my art as escapism during lockdown, I've been dreaming of being in prison! ??For our first trip after they eased lockdown last week we took a morning trip to Ilkley moors! Such a Beautiful place, there were only a few people maintaining social distancing, the children climbed, we sat eating marmite sandwiches while over looking the landscape, it was feeling of how big the world is it gave me and the urge to travel again and explore and discover new places that inspired this piece, although as I finished the painting last night, it was in that moment I wanted to visit again, with my family surrounded by nature and content to just be!
