Beautifully hand-painted piece for Atelier MIRU's 2019 BEAST collection. It speaks of the internal struggles caused by even the greatest thing that can happen to any human being: love. Inspired the quote carried in its name, the work tells the story of a love that overwhelms and suffocates.
The piece is hand-painted in oil paint, mixed with acrylic. The golden accents in the background create a subtle and delicate shimmering reflection, adding dimension to the piece.
